The "Sounds For Sculpture" project came from an afternoon walk through the Grounds For Sculpture Museum in Princeton NJ in late 2017. As composer Christian Tamburr walked through the beautiful gardens, exploring the various scenes surrounding each sculpture, he could hear a different musical soundtrack for each piece in his head. The project premiered at Lincoln Center in 2019 and maintains a consistent tour schedule.
